Where a child
begins
should not define
how far they rise.
Seed & Sky Foundation walks beside children from their first day of school to their first day of work — refusing to let poverty, circumstance, or gender determine the limit of a life.
She Rises — because
no girl should be left behind.
Girls face a cascade of intersecting barriers that escalate at every transition point. She Rises is our dedicated pathway — addressing the specific, evidence-backed reasons girls leave school.
He Rises — the boy child
will not be forgotten.
Boys face a growing, largely invisible crisis — rising dropout rates, substance abuse, gang exposure, and mental health challenges that go unaddressed. He Rises refuses to leave either gender behind.

Community is
the unit of change.
providing social-economic empowerment to communities.
Built on one powerful belief.
Seed & Sky Foundation was born from a truth witnessed firsthand: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. In classrooms and communities across Kenya, children's only limitation is not ability — it is access.
Founded by Monicah Mwaniki, CEO of Arvocap Asset Managers, the Foundation takes a long-term, holistic approach — walking with children from early education all the way into meaningful employment. Not a one-time handout. A lifelong commitment.
But a child does not grow in isolation. Seed & Sky invests in the entire ecosystem around the child — strengthening families, activating communities, connecting employers, and building the networks that turn individual potential into collective progress. When one child rises, they bring their family with them. When a community of children rises, they transform a nation.
"I have seen brilliance in places where the world was not looking. I have met children whose only limitation was not ability — but access. Access to education. Access to stability. Access to someone who believes in them."
Rooted in Kenya's founding ideals
Eliminating poverty, advancing education, and empowering every citizen to reach their potential — values Kenya was built on, values we build toward.
Accountable by design
Every shilling tracked. Every child's progress documented. Every outcome reported transparently — because trust is not assumed, it is earned and demonstrated.
Community empowerment through economic initiative
Equipping families and communities with the skills, resources, and networks to generate income, build resilience, and break the cycle of poverty from within.
Five pillars.
One journey.
From the first day of school to the first day of work — every child in the programme is supported through every stage of life. No child is abandoned at any transition point.
Vision
To raise a generation that is not limited by where it begins, but defined by how far it rises..
Mission
To remove the material and systemic barriers that prevent marginalized children from accessing and completing education and to walk beside them until they find their place in the world.
